Frequently Asked Questions

Schedule? Games are played on Wednesdays with warmup/practice beginning at 6pm and games from 6:15-7pm. We begin around Labor Day in the Fall. Spring games are calculated backwards from the last day of school for SJS.

Where? SJEAYSC Soccer Field-114th & Fort St. (SEA Church)

Uniforms? Coaches will pass out league provided t-shirts for each player at the first game. You do not need to purchase a uniform for Micro. Shin guards are required at all games. Soccer cleats can be used, but are not required for this level.

Coach? Coaches will always have their own child/children on their team. They will contact their players a week or two before the first game. If you have not heard from your coach a week prior to the first game please reach out to our coordinator under6@sjeaysc.org

Bad Weather? Coaches will contact players by 4:30 pm if games have been cancelled. You can also check our Facebook page.

Cold Weather? We will cancel micro if the wind chill is 40 degrees or below. If the wind chill is between 40-50 degrees games may be shortened at the coach’s discretion.

Hot Weather? Games will be canceled is the heat index is above 105. Heat indexes between 95-105 degrees may result in shortened games at the discretion of the coaches.

Lightning? When lighting is seen or thunder is heard, regardless of rain, play or practice should stop and all participants and spectators should move indoors or into cars as soon as possible. Play or practice may resume 30 minutes after the last thunder or lightning.

Age Range? We recommend micro soccer for children ages 4 or 5 up to Kindergarten.

Why Wednesdays? We play on this day because CYSL schedules games for the older kids on all the other days so the field is only available on Wednesday nights.
